Mentorship and Teaching

Directed Reading Program in Statistics and Data Sciences (DRP-SDS)

Co-founder — Department of Statistics and Data Science, UT Austin

I co-founded the department’s first Directed Reading Program, which pairs undergraduates with PhD mentors for semester-long independent research projects. Each pair works on a chosen topic together over the course of a semester, ending in a presentation to the department. The program handles recruitment, matching, mentor guidance, and the end-of-semester symposium. More information available on the program website.
